Account security

Proper security of your account is an absolute must. It is also enforced by the terms and conditions, in order to keep your services safe. It is often the case that, through sheer carelessness, you lose funds from your wallet because a 'colleague' has logged in with your details and made a purchase of unwanted services that simply cannot be returned.

We set out below the general security rules that all users should follow:

  • the password must be difficult to guess - it must contain at least one number, upper and lower case letters and be at least 8 characters in length
  • use a different password when logging in to the servers and panel - passwords used on vps servers are not encrypted and are therefore easy to intercept. If you use the same password on the server and in the panel, this is a simple path to problems.
  • do not give your password to anyone - according to the terms and conditions, it is forbidden to give your password to anyone. You are obliged to keep them confidential and ensure the security of your account by not revealing your login details to anyone. Instead of sharing your account, just share the server.

By registering with ReconV Clouc from an email address from a temporary email address service, you are exposing your account to a serious threat. The email address is the only information that can uniquely link you to your ReconV Cloud account. If your email address expires, you will lose access to your account in the event of a temporary account lockout or during an emergency lockout, which can be done by the user themselves. Additionally, it is not possible to recover a forgotten password.

The most serious problem is that emails can be read by other users of these services, so that an unauthorised person can get into your account.

It is extremely imprudent to use such services.
